Information about the nature of the scheme<\/b><\/p>\n

As per Government of Maharashtra and Rural Development Department and Water Conservation Department Government Decision No. VPM-2610\/Pr.No.129\/Para4 dated 26 September 2010, the following additional facilities must be provided under this scheme of Special Grant for Urban Amenities to Large Gram Panchayats.<\/span><\/p>\n

v<\/span>\u00a0 <\/span>Internal market development<\/span><\/p>\n

v<\/span>\u00a0 <\/span>Public lighting facilities,<\/span><\/p>\n

v<\/span>\u00a0 <\/span>Gardening, creating parks,<\/span><\/p>\n

v<\/span>\u00a0 <\/span>study center,<\/span><\/p>\n

v<\/span>\u00a0 <\/span>To build roads within the village,<\/span><\/p>\n

v<\/span>\u00a0 <\/span>Construction of underground drains for wastewater management.<\/span><\/p>\n

Terms\/Conditions\/Eligibility for Participation in the Scheme<\/b>\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

\u00d8<\/span>\u00a0 <\/span>Under this scheme, the Gram Panchayat should prepare a plan and get the administrative approval of the Gram Sabha. After that, the proposal should be approved by the Chief Executive Officer of the Zilla Parishad.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00d8<\/span>\u00a0 <\/span>Technical approval should be obtained through a competent authority.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00d8<\/span>\u00a0 <\/span>Budget and plan maps<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00d8<\/span>\u00a0 <\/span>Maintenance\/Repair\/Gram Panchayat Guarantee and Gram Panchayat Resolution<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00d8<\/span>\u00a0 <\/span>The District Planning Board will have the authority to determine the priority order of the Gram Panchayats in the district. The District Planning Board will determine the priority order only from those Gram Panchayats whose population is above 5,000 and which have participated in the Environmentally Balanced and Prosperous Village Scheme and fulfilled the criteria of that scheme.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00d8<\/span>\u00a0 <\/span>Certificate stating that the work presented is not proposed or approved under any other scheme.<\/span><\/p>\n
