It is located in Arnala village, Vasai taluka. Arnala Fort is also known as \u2018Jaldurg\u2019 or \u2018Zanjire Arnala\u2019. Arnala has been under the control of many empires such as Mughals, Marathas, Portuguese, and finally Peshwas. Sultan Mahmud Begda originally built this fort in 1516 AD. There is no food but water is well available at the fort. The fort is rectangular in shape and is almost surrounded by water. There are many temples like Trimbakeshwar, Bhavani Mata, Kalika Mata and Mahadev. It is located near the peaceful village of Nirmal in the west of Nalasopara. Kalamb is known for its cleanliness, relatively less crowding, semi-black thick sand, spic and span resorts and an ideal picnic spot along the sea.
