Special grant to Gram Panchayats under Urban Amenities Scheme

Information about the nature of the scheme

Government Decision Dadbhu/2010/Pr.No.62/Pr-6, dated 16 September 2010 and 31.10.2015 and 25 January 2018 from the Rural Development Department and Water Conservation Department, Government of Maharashtra

Works to be undertaken under the scheme:-

  1.     In rural areas, to arrange the cremation/burial land , to keep it in good condition and to regulate it for this work to betaken on the cemetery land :-

            1. Cremation/Burial Land Acquisition

            2. Construction of the platform

            3. Shed construction

            4. Access road

            5. Secure the area by installing fences or walls as needed.

            6. Electrification of cremation/burial ground and electric crematorium/improved crematorium system as per requirement

            7. Water facility

            8. Construction of crematorium/river bed (as much as is required for cremation arrangements)

            9. Land leveling and flooring

           10. Memorial Park

2. Gram Panchayat Building/Office Regarding Works to be undertaken :-

  1. Construction of a new Gram Panchayat building and internal facilities of the building
  2. Reconstruction of old Gram Panchayat building / extension
  3.   Planting trees in the Gram Panchayat premises, improvement of the premises, installation of a pond in the premises, and other ancillary

     3. To increase the scope of works under the public facilities scheme:-

  1. Develop a weekly market center within the Gram Panchayat limits
  2. Removing silt from the village pond and beautifying the village ponds.
  3.     Solid Waste Arrangement Do
  4. Construction of an underground drainage system.
  5.     Installation of solar energy based double hand pumps and arrangement of water purification RO plant in the existing areas within the Gram Panchayat limits

    d) Roads to be constructed under the Public Utilities Scheme

  1.     Internal roads
  2.     Construction of a connecting road from one settlement/village to another

 

Terms/Conditions/Eligibility for Participation in the Scheme

1) Administrative approval for every work under this scheme should be obtained through the Gram Panchayat after the consent of the Gram Sabha.

2)Technical approval should be obtained through a competent authority.

3) Budget and plan maps

4) Maintenance/Repair/Gram Panchayat Guarantee and Gram Panchayat Resolution

5) The selection of works under this scheme will be done through the District Planning Committee.

6) 7/12 copy of the site where construction is to be done or sample 8 copy of the site

7) Certificate stating that the work presented is not proposed or approved under any other scheme.

8) Site map of the proposed site

9) The proposal along with the recommendations of the Group Development Officer should be submitted to the Gram Panchayat Division, Zilla Parishad, Palghar.
