Financial assistance for education to backward class students Under this scheme, financial assistance is provided to needy backward class students to ensure that their education does not end due to financial constraints.
- The beneficiary should be from a backward class (SC/ST/Vija/Bhaj).
- Caste certificate must be from a competent officer.
- Annual income should be up to Rs. 10,000/-
- Must have taken admission for at least 12th standard to degree/engineering/medical education.
- Proof of poverty line status
- Certificate that the beneficiary is a local
- Certificate from the Gram Sevak stating that no benefits have been provided from the social welfare scheme before.
