Financial assistance to women livestock farmers for purchase of milch animals at 50% subsidy
Objective: To promote animal husbandry, significantly increase milk production and create self-employment. As prescribed by the government, the amount for cow is Rs. 70,000/- and the amount for buffalo is Rs. 80,000/-. Under this scheme, 50% Z. P. Grant is fixed at Rs. 35,000/- for cow and Rs. 50,000/- for buffalo. The insurance and transportation expenses of cow and buffalo have to be borne by the beneficiary himself.
