Sterilization of stray dogs
To control the increasing dog bites and rabies in the district, a special scheme is being implemented to neuter stray dogs. Zilla Parishad Palghar is the first Zilla Parishad to neuter dogs within the ambit of the Deworming Act. This scheme will help in reducing dog bites.
